The Kasra Code

In the 37th Year After the Trial of 1,000 Blades

The Declaration:

I, Alaric of the House Kasra, King of Kosforr, Lavestra, and Old Moat, Lord Paramount of the West Bay, Lord Reeve of of the Kagori Peninsula, Lord Steward of Kagori City, Lord Castellan of Hollowhill Motte, Lord Castellan of Fort Tribute, Raiser of Keeps, and Keeper of the Crown, declare:

That in an age of lawlessness, I as King of Kosforr, imbued with the responsibility of the Royal Charter of Kosforr to enact Justice, shall establish a uniform code of laws against the Crown. These crimes shall supersede the laws of the Lords of the Realm, but are not exhaustive. They are as follows:

Thievery of property of the Crown or the Lords of the Realm, as representatives of the Crown

Burglary of property of the Crown or the Lords of the Realm, as represented of the Crown

Murder of all sorts

Counterfeiting of coinage, as established by the Royal Mint

Treason against the Crown or the Lords of the Realm, as representatives of the Crown

Edicts of the East, Provinces, and Armies

Edict of the East

On the 50th Day of the 33rd Year After the Trial of 1,000 Blades

The Edict:

Those lands east of Parvale and the Mound and Flat, having been fractured among dozens of Noble Houses, shall be united under the banner of House Kasra. These lands shall exist under a new organization as the Viceroyalty of Old Moat, directly administered by the Crown through its elected representative. This Viceroyalty shall be centered on the City of its name, Old Moat, where a new keep shall be established for the defense and ministration of the lands.

Edict of the Provinces

On the 50th Day of the 33rd Year After the Trial of 1,000 Blades

The Edict:

The Simnarian Empire’s policy of renaming its conquered provinces was just one of its many barbarisms. As such, the Crown will rename the following provinces, reflecting their cultural names.

The Province of the Poppy Ridge shall be renamed to the Province of Florenorr

The Province of the West Bay shall be renamed to the Province of Kosforr

The Province of the Jaw and Tides shall be renamed to the Province of Thassalorr

The Province of Parvale shall be renamed to the Province of Lavestra

The Province of the Mound and Flat shall be renamed to the Province of the Mound

These names shall be reflected on all Crown documents and maps, and shall remain from this day until the end of days. The current names shall be bestowed upon the Great Houses of the realm as honorifics.
